The Technical Board on domestic service in Jerez, Andalucía has the objectives of setting the rules for labour relations in the sector of domestic service, and of informing and providing orientation to workers and employers.

In order to find hard-to-reach victims, the technical board meets regularly to review the living conditions, the requests made by employers through some of the partner organisations, and other labour conditions such as vacation periods or working hours.

  • migrant associations: AL ADL Pro Inmigrantes, Citizen Platform of Immigrants.

What makes this practice successful?

The technical board was created in 2006 and has since enabled the detection of some cases of THB for labour exploitation and their referral to appropriate protection services. The technical board also develops various awareness and stimulating activities around the International Domestic Workers’ Day.
